Boosting the Housing Economy One Free Vacation at a Time
The locally renowned Konsor Group plans to help the housing market and incentivize members of the community to sell their homes by offering free vacations.
Wright County, MN - February 10 2019: Shrinking inventory and strong buyer demand continue to dominate the greater Minneapolis area housing market in 2019, according to several reports from regional real estate brokers.
The real estate market has faced a unique set of circumstances from 2012 to today, all leading to a dramatic decrease in overall housing inventory. Some of the key factors driving this nationwide real estate trend include rising sale prices and first-time buyers struggling to get into the market.
“There is a shocking lack of homes for sale on the market right now and it has created a gridlock.” explains Paul Konsor of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “There are not many available homes to choose from and it’s preventing homeowners from selling because there is nothing to buy.”
In hopes of opening up the local housing economy, Paul and Heather Konsor of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices have begun offering an exciting new incentive. They are giving away vacations packages to homeowners that decide to sell their home.
“We want these free vacations to encourage homeowners to sell their properties.” said Heather Konsor. “There are lots of buyers out there, but nothing for them on the market. We can connect homeowners with the right buyers who want to purchase their home. We believe this will help the community break free from this cycle.”
Paul and Heather Konsor run and manage the Berkshire Hathaway office in Monticello, Minnesota, where they currently reside alongside in Wright County with their six children. They were voted “Best Real Estate Agent” by the Monticello Times five years in a row and are the proud recipients of the 2018 Presidents Club Award from Berkshire Hathaway, which is an award given to real estate agents among the top 5% of the Berkshire Hathaway network.
